Emergent is defined as “arising up out of; urgent.” We are student ministry that senses the urgency to rise up in this generation and to powerfully tell their friends about Jesus Christ
We exist to love and support the young people of our community in their walk with Christ. Out hearts desire is to see them experience the powerful, life changing Word of God and to develop a personal relationship with out Lord, Jesus Christ. We provide a place where young people can become spiritually prepared to deal with and overcome the issues of life by giving them Biblical answers. We want them to live Godly in an ungodly society and know that through Him, they can change their world and the people around them.
If you are in grades 6-12, we have a place for you. Come join us on Wednesday nights at 7:00p.m. in the gym. The doors open at 6:15 p.m. You will experience an upbeat, interactive service that incorporates live music, wild and crazy games, and solid Biblical Truths
Ministry Opportunities >
- Media Ministry – An exciting, relevant ministry reaching out to today’s generation using audio and video technologies.
- Student Leadership – This is done through positive peer pressure, discipleship and developing leaders who will lead their peers to Jesus Christ.
- Fine Arts – Ministries in which we help students develop their God-given talents, and gives them an opportunity to use them in Ministry.
- Drama Team – People only retain about 15% of what they hear and about 85% of what they hear and see. We illustrate Bible concepts through dramas, skits, and human videos.
- Creative Art – Graphic Design, painting, t-shirt design and other creative stuff
- Singing – Developing students to use the vocal abilities that God has given them to lead in solos and small ensembles.
- Jr. Worker Program – This is a servant ministry. This group is an extension of Emergent Student Ministries that serves in Glory Gang, our children’s service.
